Dear Friends:
I am seeing more of this drug used as a treatment for ectopic pregnancy.
According to Dr. Hale's 2000 edition, the authors of the one study about
breastfeeding quoted saw no contraindication to bf. There are no pediatric
concerns, except to use with caution. The half-life is 7.2 hours. I don't
trust the AAP drug list anymore, as it is 7 years old.
What have you all seen with temporary weaning and use of this drug?
Thank you.
