Ack :( :( :(

Yes - because we know that knowing how much milk a mother makes is
*irrelevant* and knowing how much milk a baby takes at any one
sitting is *irrelevant* and could be misleading....my favourite
study is this one:

KENT, J. C., MITOULAS, L. R., CREGAN, M. D., RAMSAY, D. T., DOHERTY, D. A. &
HARTMANN, P. E. (2006) Volume and Frequency of Breastfeedings and Fat
Content of Breast Milk Throughout the Day. Pediatrics, 117, e387-395.

Shows the volume of milk taken at any one feed in *healthy, thriving
babies* varies between 0 ml (yes, zero!) and 240 mls .

>reliable.

If it's reliable it cannot be useful. And If it is *not* reliable it
cannot be useful.

I have not had any news of this in the UK - thank goodness. Even if
it wasn't expensive, the cost of using it would be very high in terms
of confidence and morale :(
