When my first baby was around 5-6 months old he would only nurse well lying down for several weeks straight.? I have no idea why, though as an LC now I could make some guesses (teething is my best guess).? After several weeks he went back to nursing in cradle etc.? He was exclusively nursed at that time and solids had not yet been started.? I fortunately was not frustrated by it, just puzzled.? The advantage of growing up around nursing and trusting my womanly art of breastfeeding book I didn't think it was anything more than a preference on his part at the time.? Had I been an LC then or known more I might have thought to worry rather than just go with the flow....
