Um, will I get kicked off Lactnet for saying I thought TIME's response to
those of you who wrote to them was actually pretty good?  And certainly no
one is surprised that it's a form letter?

Reading between the lines of their response I thought I detected just a bit
of humble pie, as much as you're going to see a media giant admit to, and
you surely did get their attention.  That they responded to individuals,
even with a form letter, on a particular issue strikes me as rather
extraordinary.

My own preference would be to see them get encouragement for their response
so that they're likely to listen again in the future, rather than write us
off as "lactnuts."

Just my .02.... and as usual, posting for myself, not my employer....
