In response to Janet Simpson's questions about hepatitis C vaccine: there
is none!
The development of a vaccine for hepatitis C has turned out to be a very
difficult challenge. It is unlikely that there will be vaccine in the near
future. The safety of a future vaccine for pregnant or nursing women will
need to be evaluated after it becomes available.
