I really don't think anyone should get involved in someone else's ad. I have been a buyer on ebay since it started and they do have listings for different services. If she felt she was qualified to offer this service, no one should have emailed her to question that. Frankly, it's something I have thought about doing, since ebay is a very successful avenue. I have print outs of ebay's 'rules' and no where does it say that you can't offer a service. There are attorneys who offer services, as well as many other professionals. I have been told that even doulas put their service up for auction.

Just my 2 cents, so don't blast me for stating my opinion. Maybe there's some jealousy that she was earning money? So what if she's not IBCLC? Neither am I and never will be because since I've been a self employed OB home health nurse with a very successful business since 1988, they say my application to sit for the test in not complete without a supervisor's signature. What a stuck up company. I have been an OB RN for 30 years, certified in high risk for 9, and breastfed my 4 kids. No piece of paper will tell me that I can or cannot teach lactation or offer lactation services . Sorry to have gone off on this, but I feel that no one here had any right to get involved in what this gal was doing.
