I have the opposite approach, Pat.  I tell moms to refrigerate milk if
it is likely be used within 5-8 days, since the white blood cells
survive refrigeration, but die in the freezer.  The less we process
milk, the more of the immunological properties are intact.  This could
be very significant for children who frequently receive ebm.  Nothing in
the research indicates that milk is unsuitable for freezing after
several days in the 'frige.
