Dr. Rob's mother (well, not *his* mother ;-), is experiencing a drop in milk
pumped at 6 mos. He says she is double pumping. I wonder what kind of pump.
I have actually rented pumps to mothers who have purchased expensive
attractive double pumps that come in a black leatherette bag. Several have
found that while that pretty purchased pump worked just fine when the baby was
only several months old, once they hit 6 mos. it was not quite good enough.
Switching models did help.
Also, she may try nursing one one side and pumping on the other in the
a.m. before leaving home, and again when she gets home if she's particularly
'full' then. That may help her to get ahead a bit. Six months...hasn't
started OCs has she?
what a marvelously supportive pediatrician!
