Dear Zoe,
Hi, usually I just lurk on lactnet but I had my Hale 2004 at hand.
This is an injected drug, in which case it is always worth checking
the oral bioavailibilty, which according to Hale is very low. Also 3-5
mls is a pretty small dose for the Mum. So the infant would be getting
a small dose of a small dose. Which also, as Pat points out, is
rapidly metabolised.
Hale classifies it L2, safer
