I have had a weird couple of weeks.  Out of my last five consults, three have
involved short frenula in the babies!  Two out of the three babies were
latching and getting milk just fine, but mom had horribly sore nipples.

Last week at work I took care of a 15-year old (sigh!) who had LOTS  of milk
(yes, milk, not colostrum) at less than 24 hours.  And this was with a baby
who was not latching on well or nursing very much.  I never cease to be amazed
at the range among women!   Miriam
