Hi Wise Ones,

I am sure this has been talked about before, but I just got a call from a social worker on behalf of a mom who has been in the ICU since the birth of her 3rd child 18 days ago. She just got off the vent yesterday and has expressed a desire to initiate lactation if possible. I don't know too much about her case but do know she lost a lot of blood. I will be going to the ICU later today to talk with her but wanted to know what the best thing to tell her is. What is the best plan for her and what chance does she have for a successful outcome, etc. Thank you in advance for your advice.
