There is more. A mother who has paid for such a consultant may not have the money to pay for further services. When I have a client who needs to see a PT, chiropractor, etc, it is often difficult to get her motivated to take another step, as she thought an LC would be the fix-it-all she was looking for. Many mothers will pay one person and that is that. If she is going to do that, I sure would prefer she knows what she is paying for.
