You flood the HCP with a lot of unnecessary paperwork that has no impact

on their practice.

I disagree.  If the HCP repeatedly gets reports from you, over and over for 
the same problem, then the HCP will learn and adopt new ideas in the office 
practice.  Maybe even have mom try solutions first, solve the problem and 
eliminate the need for a visit to LC :-)
Or maybe learn to send the mom to LC sooner!
