Hi Jan--

oroboobuloar-nippular disporoportion??--I love it!!

Could it be a foremilk problem with this baby?? My first born was also one of
"those" babies who fell asleep as soon as the engine started on the car,
loved the snuggli and the swing, and cried/screamed from 2-11PM every day
from age 2 weeks to 5.5 months. Would that I knew then what I know now--I
would look into eliminating (totally) dairy (and look to other allergens as
well) in the mom's diet, wearing the baby upright continually (like those
mommies do in other countries), and watching out for too much foremilk, which
I suspect may have been part of my baby's problem.

Good luck -- it took me two years to recover and decide that I could handle a
second baby, worrying that it would be just like Melissa was!! Luckily,
Melissa turned into the most delightful toddler, teenager and young woman you
would ever want to meet. I paid my dues early with her (as opposed to #3 who
I am still paying for at 12!! Kaitlyn was the "perfect" infant-- who then
started the terrible twos from 14 months until age 5, at which time I started
calling it PMS instead! Still waiting for the M part to occur and hoping she
will mellow out--she also was my baby that nursed the longest, until just
before age 2 - where did I go wrong?)
