Soothies are air permeable and saran wrap is not.

I looked in the archives and read that it might not be a good idea to use saran wrap when steroids are used on the nipple because the wrap may intensify the effects of the steroid, due to lack of airflow.  Since APNO contains a steroid, it might not be a good idea to use saran wrap with APNO.
