Hello,
Has anyone worked with mothers who have had breast surgery (reduction) and experienced an increase in sensitivity afterwards which is even further intensified during breastfeeding? Other possible causes have been ruled out (poor latch, TT, infection, yeast…) The pain subsides after the initial latch. Use of a nipple shield has not been helpful in reducing the discomfort.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
