If attendance implies support of the company, of course one wouldn't go.
But you can go and listen without endorsing them, their products, or even
the lecture.  How else are you going to monitor what they say?  The worst
thing is having to go on your own time, but to maintain total integrity you
really can't go when your employer is paying you to be at work, even if it's
OK with your employer.  Just because they are ethical zilches doesn't mean
you have to be.  Bring a sack lunch if they are serving a meal to attendees,
and demonstratively decline any silly advertising trinkets which are so
pervasive on such occasions.  Wear clothing with BF messages on it (or
better still, some of those molded plastic costume breasts!!) to drive your
point home.  Ask difficult questions, especially if it discomfits the
speakers or the company detail people.  And don't eat a single pomegranate
seed.
