You mentioned a thyroid problem in the original post.  Shouldn't this
mom get her thyroid levels checked post-partum?  I have worked with a
mom who was hypothyroid and started to become irritable PP.  She had her
thyroid levels checked and it turns out she needed to increase her
medication dosage.
