Katie,

Thanks for this wonderful example of how positive reinforcement can
change behavior. It appears, from this, that if we could show every
horse rider breastfeeding in that magazine all the girls reading it
would grow up to breastfeed! And it is also of interest if that magazine
did not choose to run photos of riders who did not wear helmets, and
what happened to them when they were thrown.  Did they?

I personally do not care if the negatively focused ads run or not.
Rather, I question their long range effectiveness, that's all. And, I
question the ethics of  "health care related coersion." I want every
baby to breastfeed and I want every mom to WANT TO breastfeed... not
because she is afraid, but because she is in love.
