Have you tried zinc supplements? I have found it most effective with
toddlers whose appetites are low--also with older people who have lost
their appetites.

I have posted on Lactnet several times on this topic and have received
replies of its effectiveness. The dosage for toddlers is 15mg a day. One
can crush the tablets and sprinkle on food.

You can search the archives for "zinc" with "gima" in the address. Or if
you'd like for me to send you my file with my recommendations along with
posts about good outcomes, let me know.
