In Israel in therough the 1970s it was advised to drink black malted beer for
increasing milk supply. Based on the malt and barley. Then people thought it
was a wive's tale. However, in the 90s when I was doing my thesis, I read a
research article about a study carried out in France that black beer did have a
positive effect.

If the effect comes from the malt and barley, I would think logically that also
eating the whole grain, barley would help.
