While there are real risks associated with feeding babies anything other than 
human milk, and there are differences between breastfeeding and breastmilk 
feeding which so far are incompletely understood, I am uncomfortable when 
speculative information, based on the experience of close acquaintances or 
oneself seems to be being used as arguments for breastfeeding, such as here:
"My oldest is hyper and has attention deficit-the other two don't have these 
issues. But he got formula. My sister in law has 3 children and they were not 
BF-oldest bipolar, ADD/HD, 2nd dislexia ADD/HD, 3rd Autism/MR. I try to 
educate everyone of the dangers of formula..."

There are plenty of attachment-parented people with these problems too.  It 
doesn't help our credibility if we use unsubstantiated arguments for why to 
breastfeed.  We can stick to what it definitely accomplishes, there is plenty of 
material there.
