You are right. two different "contraptions" are being discussed. The
original thread used the name "Niplete", then described the other item
that resembles a tiny bicycle horn pump somewhat. I believe it is made in
Japan by a company named Pigeon, and I do not believe the name of that
device is anything resembling Niplete, Nipplette, or however spelled.

From what has come in about it, the one that Avent can supply is meant
for use in a non-lactating breast and the vacuum is left on for hours at
a time. Since the original question was about something that might be
usable with a few minutes application during early lactation, I mentioned
the other device which retails for less than $5. I have bought some in
the past for to have on hand for a few selected mothers.

There is a distributor in Toronto, and you can have it by regular mail in
several days or pay extra to get it rush mail. I have no financial
interest in this product or this company. I Googled briefly for Pigeon
Product Catalogue (very interesting to peruse BTW) and found it named
:Nipple puller. This ad from the Japanese parent company gave prices in
Yen. I have not yet come across the contact info for the Toronto
supplier. The name Galtak, which I mentioned in my previous post, brings
up too many companies in too many places.
