A mom of a totally breastfed baby called to report small amount of blood
in baby's stool yesterday. It happened twice and she did call her
pediatrician who said to just observe and if it happens again to bring a
diaper sample to the office. I searched the archives and found some
reference to eliminating dairy which I suggested to mom to try. I also
suggested it could be a small fissure. I will keep you posted if anything
develops and if any of you have ideas on what could be going on, please e-
mail me privately or post to the list. TIA!
