A notice of this symposium came into my google alerts.  I think it is 
wonderful that a college gender studies program is addressing 
breastfeeding.  As an undergrad and a grad student, I was involved in 
the gender studies programs at my own universities, but I don't think 
it ever would have occurred to us to talk about breastfeeding.
