My talk to the residents went quite well. I want to thank all who
contributed directly and indirectly. I really appreciate this network
of folks for lots of information and support!

The "pretest" with answers/discussion is quite long. If anyone wants a
copy of the whole thing, please email me privately (send snail mail
address, please.) Some sample questions:
1. Humans are mammals (T/F).
2. What is DHA and why is it important?
3. Soy formula has been associated with thyroid dysfunction in neonates
(T/F).
4. What effect does early hospital discharge have on breastfeeding rates?
5. The rising incidence of breast cancer in the past two generations may
be due at least in part to the declining rate and duration of
breastfeeding (T/F).
6. I believe that parents should be given full, accurate information
before agreeing to any intervention for their children, including
artificial feeding (T/F).

Some of the questions had "correct" answers, others were just meant to
provoke thought and discussion, which they did!
