The show is appalling, and one of several very bad "parenting" shows
here. The stink over such shows, whereby all it takes is a Nanny
(unqualified) and any psychologist or paediatrician who will work for
you, to say "that's okay", regardless of the legions that have refused
to have anything to do with it, has been such that the National Society
for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children in the UK, have set up a
specialist panel to try and stop such shows.

It is a sign of the low respect for children in our culture, that
leaving them to cry as strangers shout at each other over what to do
about the crying baby, is seen as both entertainment, and "a brave
experiment".

You can see the level of it by playing the appalling "take care of the
baby" game here -

Do note the formula bottles...

Lact-Net has thus far been saved the streams of rage that "Baby
Borrowers" and "Bringing Up Baby" has engendered in the UK recently. Be
thankful that the outrage over the dangerous practices extolled by the
'then exposed as having no qualifications at all' Truby King styled
Nanny in "Bringing Up Baby" will now probably never be visited on
other countries, such was the level of fury. Having gone through it
here, I hope the bleed out into Lact-Net is small: it really makes me
ill what they do in these programmes.
