Joyce - you certainly got my attention! Could you please give
details of why you suspect Munchausen's by proxy? It would be
quite a serious matter to approach either the mom or her doctor
with this suspicion especially since newborn weight loss could be
due to many other things, as we all know. You mentioned that this
was her 3rd baby and "because of problems with her 1st child" and
progression with this baby, you suspect MSBP. What happened to
the 1st? What about baby #2? Hard to help with such sketchy

will make you very leery of a diagnosis of Munchausen's by
proxy....
