Just to let everyone know: Brigit Ellen Maher made her entry onto the world
stage on July 22 at 1.59pm AEST. Catie, James and all the rest of the
extended family are mightily thrilled. She has not had a drop of anything
but breastmilk, and the midwives and lactations consultants who dealt with
Catie (before, at the Mercy Family Birth Centre, and since) deserve
heartfelt congratulations. Times have indeed changed since Catherine's
birth there in the 70's.
Grandmother Minchin is extremely caught up in it all and rather off the air
for some time: apologies to those of you patiently waiting on replies to
