This certainly could be Reflux. Many babies with reflux exhibit these two
symptoms. Also the brief apnea could be related to Reflux. Some other
possible symptoms to look for include:

frequent respiratory infections, bronchitis, labored breathing/wheezing,
pneumonia.
frequent ear infections
spitting up **absence of spitting up does not rule out Reflux or mean
anything about its severity**
sudden or inconsolable crying, or other signs of pain
poor weight gain
poor sleep patterns
difficulty swallowing
frequent red or sore throats
frequent burping or hiccuping
food refusal, arching during feeding
OR constant eating drinking.

Medication may certainly be indicated, however, due to FDA warnings,
cisapride is falling out of favor with some doctors as a first choice
motility drug. Its effectiveness is not so much in question as the
possibility of serious side effects and potentially dangerous drug
interactions. My GI friend recommends an EKG after the patient has been
established on cisapride(Propulsid).

(PS. please note that there is no MD or any other capital letters after my
name. I do however have some experience with helping families coping with
Reflux.)
