I'm a few days behind in my mail so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned.

Some hospitals attach an electronic gismo (I don't know the technical term)
to the pump and stand which sets off an alarm if someone tries to remove the
equipment from the floor. This is the same technology that is used in some
hospitals which band babies for the same reason. I know this only helps if
your hospital uses this technology, but some food for thought.
