Epstein Barr Syndrome is a new one with me! The Epstein Barr virus
is the one responsible for infectious mononucleosis (glandular
fever), but once you have recovered, you don't carry the virus around
with you (same principle as german measles etc).
I have heard of some researchers that there may be a relationship
between this virus and chronic fatigue syndrome, but again I don't
think that the baby could catch the virus from the mother and develop
an illness. I'm not an infectious disease specialist, so will be
interested to hear what others fee.
As you can see by all the replies I have made to questions, I am
definitely not in Kansas City : ( Just too far and too expensive
