In regards to Kathy's response about Dr.Northrup being full shit, I have to
agree and disagree. Yes, I guess life is full of dichotomy. If you look at
the pioneering work done by Joan Borsyenko from Harvard, there is a
statistically significant connection between mind/body/spirit. I don't think
it would be appropiate to label it as causative, but it does play a role
nonetheless. We all talk about the healing power of prayer, good
vibes/energy, etc for a reason, It seems to work. Maybe life tragedies like
these bring us a little closer to performing a life review and letting go of
some things while reaffirming our connection to others. Women, the whole of
us, our victims to the culture at large in which we live in that does not
allow us the time, money or ecological purity to live healthy lifestyles. No
matter what we do spiritually or mentally , we are still exposed on a daily
basis to disgusting amounts of toxins, which we know through research plays a
part in cell mutation and therefore cancer...So perhaps it is a lose-lose
situation, unless you embrace the journey and not the end point only... Just
