The reference to the French-language publication from the report about the
epidemic in a Belgrade SCU is:
Tassovatz B, Kotsitch A. Annales de Pediatrie 1961; 37: 285-288.

The journal may be hard to access, but the article is an interesting read.
I cited it in a 2012 article of mine on milk-banking practices prior to
1985. Sick or premature infants on direct breastfeeding remained well all
through the epidemic, despite exposure, but some infants fed on EBM treated
at high temperatures became ill - and after a change was made to giving
raw, fresh EBM, no infant became sick. From memory, the EBM was from their
mothers.
