I have a mom who is currently using the Whisper Wear pump.  There are many
LC's in my area awaiting her feedback because we have not been able to trial
this pump.  The company wants one to sign up and order pumps before you can
have one.

This mother was 12 weeks postpartum when she got this pump and had been
pumping every day with a Lactina.  She really needed to have her hands free
since she also has 2 year old twins and a 13 year old.  The first WW leaked
during each pumping so she notified the place she got it from and was given a
replacement.  After a weeks use she is not happy.  She wears it up to 20
minutes and never gets more than 1/2 oz, she still feels full and can pump
another 2 1/2 oz with the Lactina after taking the WW off.  She felt it was
comfortable to wear and did not mind the feel while it is on.  She says the
button to switch on and off can too easily be hit.  In a quiet room you can
hear the pump but normal background sound covers it up.  I don't know if the
people who sold it to her gave her the instructions of the tight seal that
she should have when the pump is on.
I have not seen any studies on this pump.  I like the concept but wish they
would use the LC community to help study and test it.
