I have had a case similar to yours.  I am looking for, but can't find the
resource, but something lead us to investigate a yeast infection of the
ducts.  She was treated with a systemic drug and had major reduction of pain
but continued to have discomfort AFTER nursing for he entire course of
breastfeeding.  I'm afraid I can't comment on the fibrommylagia.  (I am
currently laid up with a broken leg so don't have access to all my
resources.)  Don't just take my word for it--I am hoping someone on-line will
have a resource for you.
