Dear R. Green,

I get really cranky when I hear about how something is "natural" and thus
wonderful and safe. So what isn't natural and by whose standards? Cow's
milk is a quite natural substance, which also happens to make a lot of
people sick. I notice that this ointment contains wheat germ oil.
Considering that my baby turned out to be highly allergic to wheat (just
a few specks of flour on his skin produced nasty hives), using it on my
nipples would have turned out to be a very toxic experience for my baby.
Be careful what statements you make. You could be held accountable one
day.

Not so warmly,
Sharon Knorr, BSMT, LLLL, IBCLC in Newark, New York (near Rochester)
