I am a Registered Nurse and IBCLC at a small community hospital and I am in
need of information supporting continuing breastfeeding the jaundiced
newborn. One of our pediatricians makes all of his breastfeeding mothers
quit breastfeeding their jaundiced infants while they are receiving
phototherapy and I am looking for some medical references to support the
continuation of breastfeeding for these infants.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.  Thank you!
