One of the nicest systems I ever saw was at U of MI in Ann Arbor in  mid 
90's.  Total rooming in!  When parents wanted bath, nurse wheeled warmer 
into their room and gave bath, then baby right back into parents' arms.  We 
didn't know about skin to skin back then.  The nurses didn't act like baby 
was "dirty" or that immediate bath was necessary.  It was parents' choice. 
i loved it, not sure if it is still done that way.  Pat in SNJ
