HI Lactnetters,
I just found out Babywise is being recommended by a peds group in my area
to all their mothers, almost mandatory to stay in their care.
I am dumbfounded, what can I do to convince them otherwise? I recommend
attachment parenting, Dr. Sears to all my new moms. I just looked up the
archives and received some information such as the AAP not recommending
this method. I am starting with this. TIA for any advice, I read negative
advice about LC's in the book.
Warm regards,
Ellen Mahony, RN, MS, IBCLC, LCCE
was enjoying the warm weather in Greenwood Lake, NY but am now typing
furiously in my air conditioned computer room trying to figure how to go
about this battle against this curious method.
It makes WBW such a worthwhile cause, our battle against bad advice is all
year, however!
