Excuse me if this has been suggested in a post I misssed: a favorite
guiding light for me in teaching/offering suggestions to mothers is the
LC series, "Acquiring the Parental Role" by Debi Bocar and Karen Moore.
A new article I stumbled upon from the Jan-March 1997 JSPN, Vol 2, No. 1,
pages 21-28, "Learning the Baby: A Maternal Thinking and Problem-Solving
Process."  This article reminded me of the reprints LLLI used to have,
"How A Mother Learns to Love" and "How A Baby Learns To Love."
Linda Becker in Mandan ND where the leaves are turning and the wind is
blowing.
