For my 10 recert exam, 5 yrs ago, having kept knowledge current by working  
lactation and reading (cost-free) Lactnet regularly for many years, the weekend 
 before the exam I read the BF Atlas cover to cover including the CD photos.  
Made the equivalent of an "A" on the exam.
 
Recently recertified at 15yrs with CERPs.
 
For my 20 recert exam; my exam prep includes regularly reading Lactnet  and 
currently taking a course from Health e-Learning, very impressive  programs, 
....... just learned from the site that "BreastEd - the whole series -  has been 
accredited by the International Lactation Education Accreditation  Council on 
behalf of ILCA"
