I think I have found what I need for support of not using biohazard bags. I
found The Standards Interpretation and Compliance letters on OSHA's web site
that states "Breastmilk does not constitute occupational exposure as defined
by standard." This was in response from a letter written in Dec 1992 from
ILCA.
Of course it seems we always have to provide the "proof". I have challenged
the Clin Spec to do the same. It will be interesting to see what she brings
to the meeting.
Thank you,

Glenda Adams, RN, IBCLC
