I just have to ad my .02 worth here. I have five children who are all
smart. My 13 year old is very advanced in math and is well ahead of the top
kids in his school (even the ones a year older). He was totally breastfed
for almost a year--he would not take solids. He later developed allergies
and asthma. I think he was smart even then!!! He knew that his system
could not handle anything other than breastmilk. This doc should talk with
Ryan's teachers!!! I did not do as well with his older sister and she
wasn't totally bfed. As smart as she is, I think she would have been
smarter if she had been breastfed longer!
