Pamela Wiggins writes:
<quote> Fatal heart attacks among young people aged 15-34 is all over the news
today. The death rate in this group rose 10% in men and 32 % in women
during the 90s. Researchers think the reasons are obesity, smoking,
and drug abuse. We already know formula fed infants are more likely to
be obese. <unquote>

Pamela the link is even closer than that - the high cholesterol levels in
breastmilk (compared to formula) are apparently protective against later
heart disease. Young adults who had been breastfed as infants have
significantly lower mean plasma cholesterol and reduced artherosclerotic
plaques compared to their bottle fed contempories.
