Perhaps Vicki Carlson will speak to this directly if she is not too ill
with strep to get on LACTNET.

At our most recent conference, she included a most illuminating experiment
with several "volunteers" from the audience, each of whom was asked to
taste one of several cans of "mystery" fluid. Each was asked to describe
the taste and then whether they would like to drink it. The faces made
were hysterical and more telling than words. (I had to get water for the
person who had the misfortune to end up tasting one of the "predigested"
brands; I was sure she was going to lose her lunch!)

If you have never tried this, you might like to. I am sure it will be
remembered long after what was said about ABM and supplementation is lost
to the archives of the mind.

Def. of LC service: "We are all faced with a series of great opportunities
brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
