I would also like more info about banked milk and insurance coverage (Hi
Lyla). We pay a fortune every month for banked milk and insurance (good insurance)
told us there is no way we would get any coverage. However, there was no
question that we would get 100% coverage if we went with the formula our
nutritionist recommended. I don't understand the difference. Our pediatrician
prescribes the breastmilk because our child does indeed have a medical need. We are
totally willing to shell out every cent for banked milk but I know several
parents who also would like to receive banked milk but simply can't afford it. There
need is probably more than ours too. Heather Dana
