Hey Cindy -

I know that sometimes water can get "supercooled" in the freezer - if
there's no surface for the water to crystallize into ice on, it'll stay as
liquid even below freezing. Then when you shake the bottle, or open it,
that triggers the freezing process and BAM you have instant slush.

I've seen this happen with a liquid I'd stored in the freezer - it's pretty
amazing! It's been so long that I can't remember what the liquid was, but
I'm fairly certain it wasn't water, so I wouldn't be surprised if breast
milk could perhaps do the same thing. I've also seen freezer pops where a
pack of 10 had one that stayed liquid in its packaging in the freezer for a
day or two longer than the rest.

I'd see what it's doing tomorrow, and perhaps try giving it a shake to see
what happens.
