I have only read about the formula/diabetes
research on lactnet, haven't seen furter
details yet, but I'll put in my .02 anyway.

I hope that the ethical review board at the
institutions affiliated with the research
takes a very hard look at the research design
and protocol.  Seems to me very hard to
design an ethical study given all we know about
diabetes and breastfeeding.

Has the study begun or is it still in the design
stages? Is anyone on lactnet affiliated with the
insitutions involved, or does anyone know anyone
who is so affiliated? Those are the people with
some leverage.
