Julie Brill's post about the postarptum nurse and some other clients who
view LLL as fanatic raised some common experiences I believe many of us
have had.

I believe that her best approach is to go back through some of her previous
clients (perhaps another nurse, and/or someone who has found LLL to be
helfpul and is willing to talk about that) and invite them back to class to
share their breastfeeding experiences with the pregnant moms. While the
leader/teacher of a class may not be able to make certain statements, other
women with darling and healthy babies in arms can! Back in the dark ages,
when I was teaching childbirth classes, we always did this and we made sure
the mother was a happy nursing mom because we found that she was nearly
always a wonderful role model for the other not-yet-moms.

So much for my soapboxing for the night. I'm climbing down from the
suggestion box!

brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
